Absolutely hilarious! It seems that one should keep an eye on squirrels. Never know when they might encounter a lightsaber.

No longer words on a page
For the past few years, kinetic typography has become more and more popular. I will always remember my graphic design teacher being adamant about moving type. He explained that many logotypes (and logos) lend themselves well to motion. Ford used kinetic typography for their truck commercials and it was a well-executed campaign. You see, artists nowadays have benefited from this animated world that we live in. Enter the kinetic typography video—a bite-sized morsel for the eyes. There are so very many, but I will highlight only a few here on my blog.

Caravan Palace
I stumbled upon this and I thought it would be nice to share this with you. Caravan Palace (according to Wikipedia) "is a French electro-swing band based in Paris. The current band line-up consists of Sonia Fernandez Velasco (vocals and clarinet), Arnaud de Bausredon (guitar), Hugues Payen (violin), Camille Chapelière (clarinet), Charles Delaporte (double bass) and Antoine Toustou (electronics and trombone)." The music is really fun and exciting though. Check out the video below for more.

Let's squish our fruit together and enjoy lunch
ImprovEverywhere. They make life into a musical. In case you are not up with the latest videos, check these two out. They are similar in the sense that they both involve places with food. They are no Food Court Musical, but they are still wonderful and spontaneous like ImprovEverywhere is.

The candyman can knock you out
Whenever I have a song in my head, I have to listen to it so I can get it out. Are there others out there like this? Well, I had "The Candyman Can" from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory in my head and I was looking at the related videos on YouTube. Imagine my surprise when I ran across this video. Ouch.

Cellular symphony
I stumbled across this video today. Using 1000 cell phones, Vodafone created a symphony by playing text message jingles. Hats off to Vodafone New Zealand.

Don't judge a man by his heels
Dean Gardener and Jason Fender will think twice before accosting transvestites on the street. The two, aged 19 and 22 respectively, were both very drunk and had already had a pretty rowdy night, already engaging in several fights. The particular transvestites they decided to throw punches at were cage fighters. Talk about fierce. The video below shows the beat-down.

Kah-blam!
I am fortunate enough to have a freelance gig—yay!—but I don't get paid (but it's okay because I'm getting good experience). Still, this job has put me in touch with some very creative people. One of these people is Scooter Hayes, a really energetic, funny, loud guy who works with kids. I discovered one of his videos on YouTube. Check it out!
