In an earlier post, I mentioned that I was excited for Fall television. Well, now that many shows have had a chance to premier and make their mark, I'm forced to admit that I already dropped two shows from my Fall lineup.
Glee, the popular musical show on Fox, was too sporadic and pointless for me. The music doesn't make it worth watching either. Promising as it was, House (also on Fox) ended up being a major disappointment from episode one. I dropped it then. I'm still watching my other shows and Ugly Betty debuts Friday so we'll see how that goes, won't we?
When I was in college, I was too busy to watch a show's entire season. Now that I'm one year out, I'm not going to let this be the case. In fact, I've already put together a line-up of the shows I want to watch this Fall. At the very least, this is what I'm tuning into...
I am depressed that according to Yahoo!'s Fall Preview, Ugly Betty is one of the worst shows returning to TV. I won't lie, it is not necessarily the MOST amazing show the world has ever seen, but I really did like it! Why does it seem like whenever I actually get into a show, it goes off? Now that Ugly Betty will probably disappear on Fridays, what can I get into? I'm thinking Royal Pains but I can never be too sure. Luckily, House seems promising and Dexter will be back on.
Still, I really liked Ugly Betty.
